Tours fill up quickly, especially in spring and fall. We recommend booking at least one to two weeks in advance for weekend dates. Last-minute availability does happen — check the calendar and grab a spot if you see one.

What to Expect
Each tour has a specific meeting point listed on your confirmation email. The Music Row Tour meets at Flora Wilson Community Plaza (999 Villa Place). The 12 South Tour meets at Sevier Park (3000 Granny White Pike). Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.
The Music Row Tour runs approximately 2 hours. The 12 South Tour is approximately 1.5 hours. Times can vary slightly depending on group size and conversation — we never rush a good story.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Dress for the weather — Nashville springs and falls can be warm midday and cool by evening. Bring water. We'll have some on hand too, but a personal bottle is always smart. Sunscreen in summer.
The Music Row Tour covers approximately 2 miles. The 12 South Tour is approximately 1.2 miles. Both routes are on sidewalks and paved paths with no significant elevation change.
Yes! Children under 12 are always free. We love having kids on tour — their questions are often the best ones. We ask that families with very young children consider the pace and duration.
We keep groups small and intentional — typically 12 guests or fewer per tour. This is by design. A good story deserves a real audience, not a crowd.
Accessibility
Both routes are on paved surfaces and are generally accessible. Please contact us before booking to discuss your specific needs — we want to make sure you have a great experience and will do our best to accommodate.
Yes. The pace is relaxed, we make frequent stops, and there's no pressure to keep up. If you have mobility concerns, please reach out and we'll walk through the route details with you.
Policies
We walk in light rain — Nashville weather is unpredictable and a little drizzle doesn't stop a good story. In cases of severe weather or lightning, we'll contact you at least 2 hours before the tour to reschedule at no cost.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! Nashville is a dog-friendly city and we'd love to meet yours. Please clean up after your pet and make sure they're comfortable around groups of people.
Public tours require a minimum of 2 guests to run. If you've booked and we don't meet the minimum, we'll contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund.
Tips are never expected but always deeply appreciated. If you had a great time, a kind word on TripAdvisor, Google, or Viator means as much as anything.
Nashville Walking Tours
It depends on what you're into. The Music Row Tour is our flagship — two miles tracing sixty years of country music history, from the original Quonset Hut to Owen Bradley Park and RCA Studio B. The 12 South Tour covers Civil War history, Victorian architecture, and the transformation of one of Nashville's most beloved neighborhoods. Both are led personally by a guide who's spent years falling in love with this city, with small groups so you can actually ask questions along the way.
If you want more than a drive-by view of the city, yes. Walking tours get you up close to the buildings, murals, and landmarks you'd otherwise pass by, and pair them with the stories that explain why they matter. Most guests tell us it's the thing that made Nashville click for them — the city stops being just bars and honky-tonks and starts feeling like a place with real history.
Pricing is shown at checkout when you book through our online booking system, and children under 12 always walk free. Private and group tours are priced based on group size and duration — contact us for a custom quote.
Many of Nashville's most interesting neighborhoods — including Music Row and 12 South — are very walkable, with sidewalks, paved paths, and minimal elevation change. Our tours are built around compact routes of roughly 1.2 to 2 miles, so once you arrive at the meeting point, you won't need a car.
Spring and fall offer the most comfortable walking weather and are popular times to visit. Summer tours are scheduled earlier in the day to beat the heat, and winter tours are bundled-up but still beautiful — Nashville rarely sees snow. Tours run year-round, rain or shine.
No — the whole point is to slow down and walk. Tours are entirely on foot through specific, walkable neighborhoods, so you'll want to arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting point listed on your confirmation.
If you can only pick one, think about what excites you more: the music industry's origin story (Music Row) or the architecture, Civil War history, and neighborhood transformation of 12 South. Many guests do both on separate days — the routes and stories don't overlap, so they pair well together.
